Meet Nicole

Nicole Gordon pediatric sleep consultant, certified pediatric sleep coach

Hi! I’m Nicole, certified sleep consultant and owner of Delightful Dreamers, LLC.

Delightful Dreamers, LLC is a pediatric sleep consulting company that supports family with children ages birth through five with getting better sleep.

I have been working with children and families for many years. I worked in Early Intervention for ten years and I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor. I’ve supported families with sleep through my previous work and I am now a certified pediatric sleep consultant.

In 2o22, I added on an additional certification of Foster and Adopted Baby and Toddler Sleep Consultant. My practices are trauma informed and attachment is always a priority.

My favorite role is that of mom to my daughter. We have had a long road with sleep, including lots of ups and downs. With some guessing and trouble shooting we got in a good groove with sleep, but then the pandemic started and everything changed. I started researching ways to improve our sleep and this drove me to become a sleep consultant. Looking back, I wish I knew about sleep consultants from the beginning. We definitely could have used help! I don’t want anyone to have the experience that we had.

Aside from all things sleep and child development, I love spending time with my family, visiting the beach, reading, cooking and baking. I was born, raised, and still live in New England. We love doing daytrips and exploring the New England area whenever we can.

“My mission is to support families with babies and children to get better sleep so that they can have better nights and better days and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.”

why work with ME?

I see each family for who they are – a unique individual family. I also believe that we are all doing our best with our children, and I am not here to judge you or make you feel bad about your child’s sleep.

In my work, I will never use a one size fits all sleep plan. I know that what works for one child and family won’t necessarily work for the next, and I know that you are the expert on your child.

I also don’t use the “Cry It Out” approach, and I would never ask you to do anything I wouldn’t do with my own child.

Instead, I take a holistic approach to sleep and I use gentle and responsive methods. A holistic approach means that I work with you to explore all areas that may be impacting sleep. This includes everything from the child’s environment, to their nutrition, to their daily activities. I also know that we have to take into consideration each child’s own stage of development as we create a plan for sleep along with realistic expectations for age appropriate sleep.

I follow all safe sleep guidelines. I respect the families I work with and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with each and every family. I look forward to connecting with you and getting to know your family.
